Hello Friends,
With my first term as representative and second legislative session concluding soon, I want to share with you my positive intentions of running for a second term in the SD House of Representatives for our District. The experience I have gained over the last two years makes me even better positioned to serve the citizens of District 24 and to advocate for their best interests and the wellbeing of South Dakota generally.
To review my credentials, I am a conscientious, common-sense Republican who is respectful of our institutions, values, and the rewards created by investing in our people and relying on free enterprise to create opportunities for the betterment of our society. I am grounded in my 37-year career in private small business, City Councilman experience, and continued learning from the many civic and private boards and committees that I serve on.
I am a lifelong resident of central South Dakota, blessed to be married to Judy (my wife of 42 years), to be father of two beautiful girls, and the grandfather of six. We are active members of St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierre, enjoy the outdoors, and cherish the many people we are fortunate to call friends.
Please support me for my re-election to the SD House of Representatives. I promise to continue to work diligently, invest the time, and respect and appreciate those I serve with and for. The Lord has been very generous to me, and I want to continue to give back by serving central South Dakota with the judgement, work ethic, and optimism that I offer you. Thank you for your support and friendship and I look forward to the opportunity to visit with you soon.
